It is a real passion of mine to see how the brands innovate year after year, often as a result of the ski tests I have taken part in for Skieur Magazine and Ski Magazine. My aim is to offer the best selection of stock possible. At Skiset Olympic Sports La Rosière, all of our rental stock in the Excellence and Premium ranges is brand new at the start of every season.»

The choice of material

Downhill skiing

slope skis, racing skis (competition), all mountain (multi-purpose), freeride, freestyle (twin tips), snow blades, etc.

Snowboarding

Equipment suitable for novices and “Petits Boarders” (ESF snowboarding lessons for ages 4 to 8). More seasoned riders are invited to choose a board from our Excellence range (Burton Process).

Ski touring

To tie in with the inauguration of the resort’s brand new ski touring trails, we now stock high-performance ski-touring equipment: Trab skis and Scarpa boots. You can also benefit from our professional tips and advice.

Cross-country skiing

Multi-purpose equipment (classic technique and skate skiing).
Snowshoeing: Snowshoes to fit adults and children. Hiking boots also available for hire (poles included).

FOR YOUR SAFETY:

Helmets: (obligatory for children in ski school)
Protective pack: helmet, back protector, wrist guards. A pack recommended for beginner snowboarders and those venturing into the snow park.
Safety pack: avalanche transceiver, shovel and avalanche probe for off-piste outings.
ABS Air Bag rucksack: The most high performance technology for your safety.

OUR TIP :

« While on the slopes, be careful not to neglect your safety. Just like on the roads, accidents might not be caused by you personally but by other users. We strongly recommend wearing a helmet. »

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE

AAfter each hire period, our boots and helmets are thoroughly dried out then treated with an organic anti-bacterial product. We also pay great attention to the maintenance of our rental stock, with weekly waxing and edge grinding. For skis in our Excellence and Premium ranges, we use a Trione machine, a ceramic edge-grinder used during the skiing World Cup.
